Information about Westum

Westum is a non-profit organization which consist a network of about 35 learning centers/ adult education centers in the western part of Sweden. We work to promote open and distance learning by providing services for our members. We are interested in getting in contact with similar organizations, or associations for possible future cooperation and sharing of knowledge.

Westum currently participate the EU project “Scandinavian Competence Network". This project is funded by the EU program INTERREG, Region Västra Götaland and Region Halland. The consortium consists of partners from Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The aim of the project is to develop methods for better interaction between supply and demand for adult education and competence development.
